Hokianga Country Music Festival 2008

We guarantee a country music filled weekend set in beautiful Hokianga
Harbour.

With over 24 kiwi bands and performers playing at four venues from Friday night to Sunday night, fans can expect to hear 'nothin but country' folk, rock, blues, old time, gospel, honky tonk, boogie, just as long as it's country.

Organising the Festival
The Club raises funds for the festival each year by running raffles and entertaining at venues in Kaitaia, Bay of Islands, Whangarei, Dargaville and
local places around the Hokianga.

The success of our annual festival is attributed not only to the line-up of talented musicians and the awesome venues, but also to the festival committee and organisers, and all the volunteers who work 'behind the scenes' including the Door People, Van drivers, and security.

Thanks and appreciation to those volunteers and everyone in our community and surrounding districts who continually support the festival and our fundraising efforts.

We also acknowledge Pub Charity and South Hokianga Arts Council for funding and Lion Breweries who sponsor Radio Advertising and flyers.
